We are proud to announce that our newly renovated Boston Volvo Cars building at 61 N Beacon Street in Allston has won a 2020 Paul & Niki Tsongas award by Preservation Massachusetts. Recipients of the Tsongas Award are projects that have displayed the highest level of commitment to historic preservation in the Commonwealth. This is the second honor we have received for our project.
Our transformation of the old 1920s International Harvester building has been a rewarding experience – not only do we have a beautiful building in which to operate, but we also have preserved a unique piece of local community history at a time when Allston/Brighton is being transformed. And while we didn’t renovate for the accolades, we are honored that local preservation groups have taken notice of what we accomplished.
61 N Beacon is a wonderful building, and we look forward to its next 100 years of serving the community.
